Homeowners Experience
Eyal installed OFP in my home on a Pacific Palisades cul-de-sac several years ago. He had been recommended by an architect friend who helped me install a generator at my home and knew I was concerned about the risks associated with wildfires. Eyal performed maintenance on the system twice a year after installing it. He monitored my system (as he does for all of the OFP systems he installs) and always texted me if the system went off line for any reason.
On January 7th, I turned on my system as soon as the evacuation order came through, then fled. I went to the home of a friend in Beverly Hills and watched the area around my house throughout the day and night via Ring cameras mounted on my chimney. At around 6 pm, a neighbor’s house across street (about 30 yards away) caught fire. Within an hour, the house next to him (25 yards away) also caught fire. An hour of two after that, the house next to him (also 25 yards away) caught fire. LAFD arrived in time to save the third house, but the fires in the first two houses were too far along and the homes burned to the ground throughout the night, showering my (downwind) house with burning embers driven by 100 mph gusts. At about 4 am my house (and the Ring cameras and the OFP system) lost power; Eyal texted me that the system was off line. Several days later, a neighbor snuck into the area and reported that my house was still standing and had suffered no burn damage. Partially burned palm from embers were found on my back wooden deck; they had slightly charred the planks directly beneath them, but the deck was so water soaked that there was no other burn damage. The neighbor in the house between mine and the third house that burned had installed OFP when they built the house about 5 years ago. Both his and my OFP systems soaked our houses.
I attribute my homes survival to Eyal’s and my immediate neighbor’s OFP systems, and I would recommend to anyone who lives in areas threatened by wildfire that they strongly consider buying themselves some peace of mind and invest in an OFP system by Eyal.

Hi Eyal,
Thank you for installing the sprinklers & tanks at Barney’s house!
Probably helped save the 4 houses on our street!!
I’m a palisades architect (for 35+ years) w many rebuild and new projects in PP.
Please send your info & lmk if/when we can meet. I’m getting permits on several new homes now - that were submitted to LADBS prior to the fire. And, many more new projects soon.
I want to plan ahead for the water tanks/sizes, roof area, etc in the initial design stage.

I have been a client of Eyal's since 2020 when he first installed my OFP system. After the Wolsey Fire, I was desperate to do everything in my power to make my home as safe as possible for when the next fire came along. I have since taken many steps to mitigate the danger to my property, but nothing has given my more security than knowing that my OFP system is ready to be deployed at any time. Using the App on my phone, I can even turn it on if I am not there.
The other part of this system that give me great confidence is Eyal's attention to detail. He supervises the installation personally and comes out to check that all is working regularly.
I subscribe to many emergency alerts, but the first warning I get is a text from Eyal telling me of red flag conditions, fires in my area or just to check in to see if I need help with my system.
As our fires get bigger and increase in frequency, we all need to do what we can to protect our homes. Signing up for my OFP system has been the best investment I have made so far.

“Never in my life have I been as relieved to get texts at 3 & 4 am as I was during the LA fires in early 2025.
I was a thousand miles away from the house, but OFP was in constant contact 24 hours a day throughout that emergency.
We were able to monitor fire risk and take steps to protect our house and its perimeter through a period of extreme peril.
We installed the Outdoor Fire Protection (OFP) system several years ago and have now had considerable experience with it and with Eyal Zuker’s oversight. Eyal has been more than exceptional to work with—I can’t recommend him & his system highly enough.
Even from a distance, we could activate the system, add fire retardant, and soak our home and perimeter on a timed setting or on demand.
As important as that system is, even more reassurance came from knowing OFP was monitoring everything. During the highest danger, we were notified of wind velocity & ember activity in our area, & OFP guided us every step of the way until the threat was passed.
And OFP is able to activate system remotely if the homeowner is unable to respond.
Words can’t express how much it means to our whole family to have this system & support service at the ready when it’s needed.
10 stars”

I have been extremely satisfied with the installation and service of the fire protection that Eyal Zuker has provided for my home. It is incredibly reassuring to have the ability to protect my home at any time in the event of a fire as I live in an area with severe fire risk. The system provides the peace of mind that makes it possible for me to live in my home in a beautiful natural area in the mountains.
